Shipping & Returns Policies

 

We offer several shipping options, UPS, FedEx, USPS on most of our items. Ground shipping usually takes 2 to 8 business days depending on the destination. (PLEASE be aware that weekends are not included in delivery time.) Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together. We will notify you if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days.

 

We process orders Monday through Friday. If an order is placed on the weekend, it will be processed the next business day.


The day the item is ordered is not counted as one day. Please allow an extra day. If orders are placed after 1pm Eastern time, order will be shipped next day.

**Please note that the above shipping times are after the 1-3 business day in house processing time.

Also be aware that some of our items are not able to be shipped on weekends by our suppliers.

**Select Gift Items are available to be shipped to APO, FPO and P.O. BOXES. It will involve 3 additional days to ship them out. In addition, there are NO LATE DELIVERY REFUNDS, NO CLAIMS, OR DAMAGE CLAIMS honored under these circumstances**
 

                                         

Please indicate the date you would like your order shipped in the appropriate area. During Christmas the cut off time will be moved up earlier in the day so that we may accommodate for the Holiday rush.

For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return or attempt delivery the next day. This is up to the discretion of the driver.



To place an engravable order, make sure you send us the following information:
1) The wedding/event date
2)Need by date
3)Shipping Method to use: a) Standard-Ground UPS b)3 Day Select c)2nd Day Air d) Overnight
4)Make sure orders are placed 3-4 weeks in advance.
5)Personalization Information: The Engraving Information is very important as we engrave gifts EXACTLY as written in the order. 6)Changes to an order cannot be made once the order is submitted , so be sure to verify all information closely before submitting. If the order has not gone into production we can make a change for a fee of $30.00.
We ship all engravable gift items within 2-3 business days for in-stock merchandise. We will ship all candle and favor items within 5 business days.

We stand behind our products and are proud to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on any defective or damaged merchandise. Our guarantee includes exchanges only. No refunds are available on personalized items. Items without personalization may incur a restocking fee of $15. Please inspect goods IMMEDIATELY. Any defects or damages MUST be reported within 7 business days of delivery date. No exceptions.
PERSONALIZED merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged. Dated items cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason after event date, regardless if they are defective or damaged, as Candy Gift Botuique cannot be responsible for the use of the merchandise.

 

Placing Orders:
Gift Baskets & Bouquets ships on Business days Business Days are Mon-Fri, excluding Sat, Sun & Holidays. Estimated arrival times * DO NOT * include the day the order is placed or shipped.


Due to delays by credit card processor, notifying us of orders placed either before the cutoff time on some of our items, we are NOT responsible for these delays in processing credit card orders due to technical problems or transmission delays.


Holiday Shipping: If you order a gift ground service, we will ship it ground service. There will be NO REFUNDS for delivered late or not ordered with the correct shipping method. (SHIPPING IS NON REFUNDABLE) NO EXCEPTIONS.


Christmas Holiday Shipping Policy During December
We recommend you order early so that your gift arrives in time for Christmas. Delays in delivery may occur during the Holidays.
Do not count Saturday and Sunday when determining time.
 Valentine's Day Delivery Shipping Cut Off Dates:
UPS 3 Business Day - Order must be in by 12:00 Noon EST
 on Friday Feb, 9th
UPS 2 Business Day - Order must be in by 12:00 Noon EST
on Monday Feb, 12th
UPS Next Business Day - Order must be in by 12:00 Noon EST on Tuesday Feb, 13th
Cookie Bouquet Shipping Info:
**We do not ship orders the same day, but if we happen to have the arrangement ready to go that same day we will ship it, otherwise all orders are shipped out the following day.
**There are no cancellations. Once you place your order it is processed, charged to your credit card, made upon the receipt of the order and shipped the next morning.
**We do not guarantee circumstances as follows:
A. Inclement weather which restricts the delivery of a candy arrangement!
B. Incorrect delivery address information given by customer. (No refund)
C. Recipient not available to receive his or her candy arrangement. If no one is home a notice will be left about the delivery. If they do not pick it up or have it redelivered, it will be sent back to us & there is (No refund)
 
6. We do not ship to patients in HOSPITALS! or people staying at HOTELS. We ship to all 50 states. We do not ship Internationally or to APO's & FPO's. We do offer shipping to PO. Boxes on selected gift items but it will take one or two additional days to ship out. In addition there are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances.
Candy & Cookie Bouquets or Cookie Boxes cannot be returned or exchanged because they are a food item, and we must maintain control of the quality of our candies and cookies until they reach our customers. NO REFUNDS ON ITEMS SHIPPED TO INCORRECT ADDRESS. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK WHEN YOU FILL OUT YOUR ORDER.
Misrouted Packages:
We are not responsible for incorrect information such as shipping addresses that are sent to us. Please make sure you send the correct destination address. We have to charge a redelivery fee of $25.00 to any incorrect addresses.
Perishables: All food items cannot be returned.
WEEKEND SHIPPING (IMPORTANT!) From June until Mid-September we will no longer ship fruit gifts over the weekend.
Order Cancellations: We require that any order cancellation be placed within 12 hours of order confirmation. All cancelled orders placed with a credit card that has already been processed will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee. We do not allow cancellation of order after the gift item has been shipped, because we cannot reuse any food product found in the gifts.
Return Policy (Gift items only!): If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may exchange it or return it for a  credit (minus shipping and handling). NO EXCEPTIONS! Simply return the item in its original packaging.
Please include insurance when returning gift. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
Returns or exchanges claims must be placed within 4 days of gift being received. Notification in writing via fax or email must be made within 4 business days of the gift being received. NO exceptions.
Returns/Exchanges-Engravable Gifts
Please inspect goods IMMEDIATELY. Any defects or damages MUST BE reported within 7 business days of delivery date. PERSONALIZED items cannot be returned or exchanged. Any defective or damaged merchandise that is returned must be properly packaged. We are not responsible for any further damages due to improper return packaging.
SUBSTITUTIONS: At times we may need to substitute items, as we make changes to our inventory based on product availability, etc.
